Optimal Coordination and Scheduling of Demand Response via Monetary Incentives

PROJECT TITLE :

Optimal Coordination and Scheduling of Demand Response via Monetary Incentives

ABSTRACT:

While not demand-facet management, an increase in the amount of electric vehicles (EVs) could lead to overloads on distribution feeders. Aggregators may optimally manage the charging/discharging of the EVs, to not only maximize the customers' welfare in response to real-time prices and accommodate their desires for transportation, however conjointly to stay the distribution network among its operating limits. This paper proposes a decentralized framework in which the aggregator seeks to maximize its profits while the consumers minimize their costs in response to time-varying prices, and extra incentives provided to mitigate potential overloads within the distribution system. Check results show that a massive penetration of EV penetration will then be managed without violating the capability of the distribution network.
