An Upper Bound on Antenna Near-Field Deviations Caused by Mutual Coupling for Applications in Optimization Design Methods

ABSTRACT:

The present letter studies the impact of electromagnetic mutual coupling on the near fields of generic antenna systems. The most objective here is to derive an upper sure on close to-fields deviations caused by mutual coupling. The strategy transforms the matter of near-field coupling from the close to zone to the recently introduced antenna current Green's operate outlined on the antenna itself. Through this upper certain, the formulation presented here can be used to develop automatic algorithms for the planning of coupled antenna systems with optimum near-field performance. Numerical examples involving linear wire arrays are given to demonstrate and make sure the approach proposed here.
