M1C2: Experiments in Community Building through Collaborative Research Dissemination

ABSTRACT:

CG&A EIC L. Miguel Encarnação describes how the magazine is actively operating to create pc graphics theory, technology, and applications more accessible by bridging the boundaries between the academic community and therefore the more applied field of laptop graphics analysis in government and business. In a very new publication experiment, CG&A is collaborating with the IEEE Visualization Conference (www.ieeevis.org) in the hopes of broadening and strengthening the pc graphics and visualization community.
