Lessons from Tata's Corporate Innovation Strategy

ABSTRACT:

Firms are increasingly using a large choice of strategies and technology tools for managing their innovation ecosystems for competitive advantage. This text describes the expertise of a big global conglomerate at managing its innovation ecosystem within the last decade and the teachings learned. The authors clarify the role of disciplined autonomy to meet innovation challenges across industries and geographies and describe the ADROIT framework for tailoring IT systems and assessing the true economic price of innovations.
